By kind permission of Andy at West Wind, here are the first pics of the Soviet Spider Mech. It is a monster!!
Also some pics of Major Goddard and more Jet Rangers.
And before anyone asks the obvious question ......... no I don't know the release dates.

i am liking that spider mech a lot! i can imagine mechovaya platoons becoming very popular when that is released! the commander looks good too i'll probably get a squad of jet rangers for my american force, but theres something about them that isnt shouting out at me as much as they should be. The crash dixon pose is pretty sweet though i was hoping he'd be the same as in doomsday holding the flag

hat spider mecha is just awsome, Goddard looks nice too. As for Crash he looks great as well. The jet ranger with the packed LMG is another nice model.

Now thinking how I could take out the Spider Mech??Heavy armour I presume so 6's needed for your avg rpg...Mr C won't have a prob having honed his skills on my 'Sarge'!Not that taken with it as it's similarity to the main body of the KV tank makes it a little too ugly for me. Love the Goddard fig and will be getting some Jet Rangers as they look uber cool and give the Yanks a much need speedy dimension....this year is going to be marvellous for all factions I reckon as the Doomsday book has some real treats in it...well done Andy...keep 'em comin'

I really like the Spider Mech and the Jet Rangers looks nice too but Goddard.... well it's a British Steel with a sword.... nothing too exciting imho.

Oh yeah baby! The Spider mech is pure awesomeness! Westwind have become really good at making resin models.I just bought the Tiger mech and I must say that the details were absolutely brilliant, fit was perfect, really an ace model . The spider mech look similarly brilliant!( I do hope Andy finds time eventually to redo the older Mechs.) Tnx for the pics Blackadder!

All the mini's look brilliant, but the Spider Mech rocks. I'm just starting a Russian force so the spider mech will fit in nicely.
