Blimey...that was a helluva weekend! Zombies infesting the industrial area of the town Vent D'ouest, werewolves ripping through infantrymen, bullets flying everywhere...oh yes, it was good un!
It was a bit of a trial the week or so before the event...the scenery wasn't finished (not by a long shot) and neither were the zombies...cue me in a mild frenzy (can you have a mild frenzy?) the day before, desperately trying to finish them...which i did, although i didn't get much sleep that night

So, onto the pics...scenery mainly by Amera Mouldings, (tank and street furniture from Tamiya, truck from Sloppy Jalopy) painted by the stalwarts of our club Trelawnys Armies, Brits, zombies and werewolves painted by me, Germans painted by Kingpin

The table
British Steel are sent out on point
HMG team spot some zed's in the distance
The zombies start to swarm
British infantry in trouble...
The only pic i could get of a werewolf in combat - they move so fast, by the time i'd taken this, he'd shredded his way through a fireteam and claimed an objective!

Pics taken over at least a dozen games, with 20 or so gamers taking part - most of them have heard of the game but not seen one being played...put some dice in their hands and tell them to shoot a werewolf and they're hooked! - using the three basic scenarios in the main rulebook...hopefully at the next show - Exeter Legionary in a month or so - we can improve the scenery and get a mech or two on the table!
Also, there was a photographer there from a well known wargaming magazine - MAYBE we'll have some pics published.....
Oh yes...the photographer from Wargames Illustrated spent over half an hour at our table taking pics...mainly because we were the only chaps there who ran a WW2 game! Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy had a photographer there as well, but he didn't take as many pics...and there was a lovely blonde lady who took pics for the shows site

Overall, an exhausting weekend, but a lot of fun...here's to the next show!
